Because of my recent Etsy lamp purchase, I thought I’d share a few more of my favorite Etsy light shops. Sourcing as much as I can from independent designers has been my goal and although I may have found a few pieces from Restoration Hardware [on sale, mind you] and World Market, the majority of my interiors are either from Etsy or vintage. Who has some favorite shops I don’t know about?
For my foyer, I chose this spider-ish light fixture from Hangout Lighting. I love that you can create your own fixture by placing the ceiling grips wherever you want. I thought it would be an interesting piece to have in the small foyer space…and completely different from the rest of my decor. I noticed recently that Fenwick’s 300 in Melrose has a similar fixture…excited to hang mine!
I originally ordered these Vivianne Sconces from Triple 7 Recycled for the bathroom, only to realize that my sink nook was a bit too small for two sconces flanking either side of the mirror. It would have been too crowded. So I reached out to Jessie, the owner, she made them have an external cord/plug so I can put them wherever I want. I’m thinking I’ll put them in the bedroom somewhere :)
I loved this shop so much, I also ordered two of THESE GUYS to go over my kitchen windows. I love how simple and modern they are. Most of my furniture is primitive and rustic…so I like to throw some modern in whenever I can. I feel like these are a good mix of both styles.
