DIY basket lamp

A few months ago, I finally took down my West Elm mid-century pendant that had been hanging low over our non-existent dining room table for over a year. Billy kept hitting his head as he passed through the room so it was time for it to go. I ended up listing it in my booth [email me if you’re interested]. I had this cute light kit with a fabric cord that I purchased from Anthro a few years ago and strung it up as a placeholder. I just wasn’t sure what sort of light I wanted to eventually hang over our tiny yahtzee table and thought it would suffice until I figured it out. THEN…I saw this cute post by Emily Henderson last week. It seemed like the perfect upgrade to my current situation and, for now, I’m happy with it. It gives off the sweetest light in the evenings…thus the night-time photo. I bought the basket from Nate Berkus for Target.

totally didn’t line it up with the window. OH WELL!

does this really require a how-to? no. flip basket over…drill hole…string light kit √
