As you know, I’m a Porter Flea fan [1, 2, 3]. I’m beyond inspired by the variety of local artists and this past weekend had so so many great booths. After attending so many, I officially have favorites: Mitchell Bat Co, Luke Howard, Family Tree, Nisolo, Boss Construction, and Handy Dandy Productions just to name a few. However, my absolute two favorites are…
Lisa Garcia just knows how to make my kind of jewelry. Each year, my sister and I rush over to her booth and I always get some sort of tassel-y lovely. In past years, I’ve purchased a few really awesome pairs of earrings, a necklace, and a bracelet. This year, I snagged this long, cord-like necklace with a large tassel. In addition to REIN, she also sells the beautiful wall hangings under the name Soñadora. Follow her @sonadorainlove to see her beautiful pieces :)
The Finer Things is made up of two artists – Shelby Rodeffer and Julian Baker. I truly love everything they make. At the Aircraft Flea a few years ago, I purchased their Mean Girls print and this year, I fell for the Motor-sicle print and their Be Good print. Shelby is responsible for the adorable Porter Flea logo and Julian has designed the majority of what you’ve seen at Third Man Records. Top notch, you guys.
Finally, I purchased this copper planter from a new vendor called Jones Bros Metal. I couldn’t resist.
