After a brief jet-lag treatment and dinner with friends in London, we officially started off our trip by renting a car and heading down to Brighton. I’d been told by many people that I’d love this vintage beach town…and they couldn’t have been more right.
I selected a hotel called Artist Residence because I’m always on the hunt for accommodations that put a little extra thought into aesthetic. Fortunately for me, they put in a LOT of thought :) For instance, our room (featured above) had a groovy mural painted by a local artist and pretty planked walls in the bathroom.
Aside from the hot pink door, the outside shares the same facade as the neighboring inns and houses that line Regency Square, but the inside features 23 uniquely designed rooms, a restaurant called The Set, a bar called The Cocktail Shack, and a ping pong room for good measure.
